About Meghan Eckman
I’m a senior video producer and director with over 25 years of experience creating and leading video content across editing, cinematography, directing, and production. I’ve worked on everything from long-form documentary projects to short-form social, educational, and branded content for enterprise organizations.Most recently at dentsu and Merkle, I led video projects end-to-end, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop content that was both creatively strong and strategically effective. In addition to hands-on production, I spent significant time evaluating how video performs once published, conducting YouTube and video channel audits, and helping teams design content for discovery, reuse, and long-term value.I’m also an early adopter of AI as a creative and production tool. I use AI to support workflows such as transcription, audio cleanup, scripting, and ideation, and I’ve led internal training sessions to help creative teams adopt these tools responsibly without sacrificing quality or judgment.I’m at my best when I’m close to the work, collaborating with teams, shaping content end-to-end, and maintaining strong visual and storytelling standards.
