ABOUT MEGHAN LAPORTE

I love being part of health-tech start-ups and am a risk taker. I love being around entrepreneurs and the go-getters. I am a part of business development and account management teams because I have always been the type of person who seeks new and better ways to get things done. I continually to try to join teams or companies who are doing pioneering work, and to be part of that is tremendously exciting to me.I bring three strengths to work every day:1. Communication. I have always been highly effective at getting ideas across to different groups of people.2. Relationship-building. I always take whatever time is necessary to get to know my clients and prospects, because I genuinely enjoy getting to know the concerns and motivations of others.3. Problem-solving. I always rise to the challenge of thinking through difficult issues and situations and coming up with strong solutions.I played outside back at the University of Alabama\'s soccer team throughout my entire collegiate career and made the All-SEC Academic Team. In athletics, I learned three important attributes that I believe I bring to my business career: discipline, teamwork and grit. I bring my passion, my strong work ethic and a dedication consistently to my job every day.In my free time, I love working out, cooking, trying new restaurants, seeing live music and spending quality time with my family and friends.
