Responsible for Legal entity monthly/quarterly/annual book closings and general accounting as per US GAAP without any accounting issues-Responsible and Accountable for the month-end close, reporting and reconciliation, consolidation process in accordance with the agreed internal and external group timetable. Ensure the completeness and the accuracy of financial records-Coordinating with various departments for collection of reports and following up with if any correction or changes required- Inventory analysis and reporting- Forex analysis report preparation- Interact with corporate Accounting Team to ensure that all the shared details are reported accurately and ensure that all month end activities performed on time with defined policies and work procedures - Performing of Bank recons between Bank General Ledgers & Bank Statement extracted Bank website and SAP- Clearing of Open items from GL account and escalating the aging transactions to the respective units for further update on aging transactions - Performing monthly balance sheet recon for the various balance sheet GL and get sign off with the concerned Team for review and finalizing for submission- Providing comments, action plans for reconciling differences & uploading the Recons in SharePoint - Prepare & Review account reconciliations, identify areas for improvement and implement the same in finance Processes - Analyzing on Open Items and finding matching entries and clearing the same- Supporting internal and external audits by providing information & answers to auditors- Preparing financial analysis, margin analysis, inventory and freight analysis and conduct meeting with Senior Management to review the company’s financial performance, take them through the key trends and variance explanations in key financial statement components - Implement continuous process improvements- Responsible for SOX compliances and ensuring zero.
