ABOUT MEGHANA BHOGLE

Currently heading the IPs & Touring division at District by Zomato (formerly known as Paytm Insider) where my focus is on content & curation for branded IPs through digital and live experiences and working with various talent (music, comedy, poetry) across the country to curate, design and execute their multi-city tours. Have had the pleasure of curating and executing tours for Arijit Singh, Lucky Ali, Divine, When Chai Met Toast, PCRC, Bloodywood among many others along with IPs such as Casa Bacardi, India Cocktail Week, Lil flea, Simba Uproar, Spoken fest, Independence Rock, BMW Joytown etc Previously worked at Oranjuice Entertainment, a division of Fountainhead MKTG, where I ran activities across conceptualization, curation to execution of consumer facing events/festivals/theatre productions/tours like The Mahindra Blues Festival, The Russell Peter\'s Deported World Tour (India), The Prateek Kuhad Winter Tour 2019, The Arijit Singh Concerts in Bombay (2016 & 2020), Aditya Birla Group\'s Aadyam, NCPA Add Art, Celebrate Bandra. Having graduated from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics with a majors in Export marketing and Industrial psychology, I moved on to do a short yet exciting stint at Only Much Louder. My job profile at OML included content creation and copy-writing, which also required me to interact with Independent bands/artists across the country. I also spent 2 years of my college life partly working at AIESEC, an international youth organization with its presence across the globe. My responsibilities included managing events/ conferences, raising funds through partnerships,facilitating international internships. Post OML, I took up the pursuit of cracking entrance exams for my MBA. Securing a 99 percentile in CET 2011 was an add-on to the list of highlights of my academia. I completed my MBA with a specialisation in marketing, while exploring the musician in me through ad work and solo gigs, across the city as well as the ones with my band (Voctronica) which was managed by Sony music, India. I took up the a job at Sony Music India immediately after completing my MBA. I worked as an A&R consultant with the company for 2 magical years working on projects like Coke Studio, Live from the Console and more. A good chunk of my time was spent on scouting for artists that could be signed to the label some of which were Divine, Arjun Kanungo, Dub Sharma and Brodha V.
