ABOUT MEGHAN WARD
I’m currently completing my PhD at Trent University, where I study the changes in wetland biodiversity (frogs, toads, marsh birds, mammals, aquatic vegetation, and macroinvertebrates) in response to the removal of invasive Phragmites and Typha x glauca at Point Pelee National Park and Lynde Shores Conservation Area. After completing my MSc I worked as a Wetland Education Specialist with The Land Between where I designed educational curriculum about the importance of wetland conservation in Ontario. I have a passion for all things wetlands, research, and science communication!
