Currently the committee on Resilient Building Codes, Energy-Efficiency Alignment, Environmental Justice are primary initiatives. Leader for USDA on the Capital Needs Assessment (CNA E-Tool). • Working with HUD’s Office of Economic Resilience on Notice of Affordability (May 2015 - CFR) for bringing both agencies into compliance with the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Continued interagency work underway to adopt IECC 2015. • Creator of energy and water scoring for the Multifamily Housing Notices of Funding Affordability (NOFAs). Since its inception, these incentive points have produced 100% Zero Net Energy (ZNE) multifamily housing, particularly in California, and close to ZNE in other parts of the country. • Working with the Underwriting team in the Community Facilities Program to underwrite loans, using financial analysis tools as well as architectural and construction expertise. Identifying multilayered financial risks related to building projects.
