ABOUT MEGHAN MORAN

I am an attorney at Sheetz, Inc, where I provide a wide range of legal services and advice to the corporation and team members with a focus on real estate matters, corporate law, and litigation. Prior to joining Sheetz, I worked at Babst Calland, where I focused on real estate, corporate, and litigation matters, at Burleson LLP, where I focused on energy law, and at Zimmer Kunz, PLLC, where I practiced primarily in civil defense litigation. I am a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History. While in college, I performed with the internationally renowned Eastern European folk ensemble, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans. I received my Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. After law school, I worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Dante Pellegrini of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. I have been admitted to the bar of the Courts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of West Virginia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Federal Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. I have represented clients in a variety of court proceedings, including depositions, motions practice, settlement negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, trials, and on appeal. I am an active member in the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the Women in the Law Division and the Real Property Section. When I am not practicing law, I teach fitness classes at Mt. Lebanon High School\'s Continuing Education Program. I also sit on the board of directors for PIFAI, d/b/a The Tamburitzans, am the Secretary of the organization, and was the chair of the ensemble\'s 85th Anniversary Celebration: Today\'s Youth Bridging Our Cultures.
