About Meghan Grady Serrano

I am a skilled STEM educator, leader, and project manager with a decade of experience driving equity-centered results in the education and nonprofit sectors. Designing programs, problem-solving, and collaboration are my superpowers. I have an excellent track record of collecting and utilizing data to develop effective strategies, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and establishing processes that drive success. I am most at home in my work when I am connecting with others, learning from experts, and building programs that create a better future. I hold a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Purdue University, as well as an M.A.T. from Marian University and an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. While I currently live in the Seattle area, I grew up in Indiana and spent much of my early career in Boston, New York, and Washington, DC, so I consider many places home.

   Team Management - Manage a team of 8 fitness instructors by providing annual reviews, quarterly professional development workshops, and informal check-ins Adult Training and Development - Coached two new Pure Barre teachers through a month-long process of training, practice, and evaluation; developed and implemented professional development workshops for a team of 20+ teachers on topics such as client interactions, class structure and timing, and studio policies. Fitness Instruction - Taught 1100+ fitness classes to clients in Washington, DC and Kirkland, WA with a special focus on client interactions, customer service, and custom modifications.
