As Project Coordinator at Choice Translating, a full-service agency specializing in translating and interpreting, I ran a variety of translation projects from initial client contact to delivery. My role involved coordinating contractors - translators, proof-readers, DTP specialists and QA specialists - in order to provide a quality translation product to our clients in over 200 languages, from individuals translating their birth certificates to corporate accounts looking to expand their market internationally or to diverse populations here in the US. I am proficient in many areas of project management in the translation industry, such as quoting, recruiting and evaluating linguists, formatting, and working in our project management platforms, XTRF and MemoQ. As Project Coordinator, I also managed the translation side of our pro-bono service, Choice Cares, which translations for legal services for undocumented youth immigrants.
