About Meghan Frye

As a dedicated biotech and pharmaceutical professional, I have built a career and reputation on my longstanding partnerships with healthcare professionals throughout the Baltimore area as we collaborate to radically improve patient outcomes and deliver the highest quality care.Trust is the bedrock of my field, and I’ve worked toward that end as a consultant to physicians and C-level hospital decision makers, conducting needs-based assessments and delivering patient-centered initiatives that achieve ambitious goals for those we serve. I’ve partnered with major accounts such as University of Maryland, MedStar, Johns Hopkins, and INOVA, while cultivating strategic relationships with new prospects.A patient advocate, I’m committed to elevating Genentech’s teams to provide that same standard of healthcare excellence nationwide, and I’ve been recruited to lead several innovative field training programs—from development to delivery—that have bolstered productivity and quality by identifying areas of improvement, business prioritization, and talent across the sales force. As a Clinical Hospital Specialist at Genentech, I recently implemented a successful system-wide door-to-needle challenge for the 10-hospital University of Maryland Health System, and expanded the initiative to the first-ever statewide challenge, leading to more patients being treated and increased visibility on improving key components of stroke care across the entire state.Prior to that, I earned national and regional recognition at Genentech and Sonofi for pivotal contributions to product launches, outpacing sales goals, driving product awareness, and growing business for products that address multiple disease states, including cardiovascular, diabetes, allergy, endocrine, and neurology.CORE COMPETENCIESB2B Sales Client Relations Needs Assessment Business Development Account & Territory Management Team Leadership & Motivation Clinical & Product Knowledge Presentations Prospecting

Experience

  1. Hospital Clinical Specialist

    Genentech

Apr 2016 — Present · Baltimore, MD, US

I\'ve built advocacy and collaborated with C-Suite and HCPs on programs with major accounts that include the University of Maryland, MedStar, Johns Hopkins, and INOVA.I collaborate with Neurologists, ED Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, Quality, Stroke Coordinators, Service Line Directors, and Hospital Administrators to increase tPA sales (Activase & Cathflo) in the Maryland territory. Through evidence-based Stroke and Central Venous Access Device protocols and process improvement plans, I ensure that all eligible patients are treated. I also educate HCPs regarding products, appropriate use, and dosing/administration. I have partnered with the VP of Neurosciences & Director of Quality at the Lifebridge System to co-create solutions for mild/disabling stroke patients by standardizing protocols across the 4-hospital system.A highlight of this position was implementing a successful system-wide door-to-needle challenge for the 10-hospital University of Maryland Health System. I then expanded the initiative to the first-ever statewide challenge across the country, leading to more patients being treated, better outcomes, and enhanced patient experience across the entire state. As one of 12 selected for Genentech\'s National Work Product Team, I helped create a playbook for the entire sales field team to develop sales skills and learn prioritization within the business. Prior to that, I trained 8 new Clinical Specialists, led CORE training classes as the field-based trainer (2017–2019) and ran the National Branded Cathflo Webinar as the moderator and host for 130 Reps across the entire field in 2018.Appointed to sit on the Cultures & Value Committee, I gather feedback and concerns from the field to create a more transparent culture and improve service and efficiencies for physicians.AWARDSRegional Impact Award Sales Achievement in 2017 and on track to win in 20••••19 Activase Growth ContestXofluza Sales Contest
