I work in a role that inspires my creativity and fires my passions surrounding neurodivergence in the workplace. In my role, my responsibilities have included assessing neurodivergent candidates for hiring initiatives, co-creating and facilitating neurodiversity education sessions to employers, providing consultation services to employers, aiding in partnership creation, aiding in creation of e-learning modules and other education materials such as PowerPoint presentations, curriculums, and toolkits and aiding in creation of materials used for neurodiversity hiring initiatives. In addition, I co-lead two global projects, collaborating with multiple Specialisterne locations, that are focused on harmonization of our services and offerings.

ABOUT MEGAN PILATZKE
I am a proud autistic woman and member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. With over 30 years of lived experience, I am dedicated to promoting acceptance, inclusion, and accessibility for autistic and neurodivergent individuals, particularly in employment and healthcare. My passion lies in advocating for autistic employment rights, fueled by personal experiences of discrimination. I also focus on educating healthcare professionals about autism, especially in women, to improve care standards. As a thought leader and public speaker, I share insights on supporting autistic adults in various settings, leveraging storytelling and personal experiences. Some of my collaborations include Autism Canada, CAMH, CBC, Flourish Health Services, Globe and Mail, and The Senate of Canada.
