Megan is a highly experienced sustainability and mining professional with demonstrated performance in sustainable development, environmental management, and permitting. With progressively more senior roles in both site and corporate settings, Megan has gained extensive expertise in managing complex sustainability initiatives and navigating regulatory requirements.One of Megan\'s key strengths is her ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Her experience in implementing MAC’s Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) standard, a globally recognized, award winning sustainability performance program, has given her a deep understanding of the importance of engaging with all parties, from local communities to government agencies, to ensure the sustainable development of mining operations.Megan’s experience in building a company’s sustainability brand, positioning them as an emerging leader in the Canadian mining industry, has allowed her to gain an invaluable skillset in ESG implementation and strengthen her ability to drive progress towards a more sustainable future.Megan holds dual bachelor’s degrees in biology (University of Western Ontario) and civil engineering (University of British Columbia), providing a unique perspective on the intersection of environmental management and engineering within the mining industry.
