ABOUT MEGAN ISSA

I am a creative and client-focused civil P.E. who excels at project management, business procurement, sustainable design, and structural analysis. I am currently an engineering associate at Alliant group, working on energy efficiency studies for tax incentives, collecting data onsite and certifying optimized models. In the past, I worked as a bridge designer, working predominantly on TxDOT projects. As a structural engineering intern, I gained experience performing rigorous structural analysis and risk assessment on steel structures, foundations, base plates, and connections. Prior to beginning my engineering career, I worked in client relations, advertising, and marketing. Through this experience, I gained skills in networking, professionalism, communication, and making lasting relationships with clients. My strong suits lie in my personability which allows me to maintain an extensive network, encompassing a variety of industries. I thrive in forward-facing roles where I am able to bridge the gap between the technical aspects of engineering and business procurement.
