About Megan Lacreta
In May, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a B.A. in political science and a minor in communication. During my time at Manhattan, I had the honor of being inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, as well as the college\'s own honor society.Throughout college, I developed a passion for journalism of all kinds. I had the privilege of serving as an editor for both The Quadrangle Newspaper and LOTUS Magazine. I also interned with the Bronx Times, where I learned so much about news writing and reporting.I\'ve found philanthropic work to be deeply fulfilling for as long as I can remember, and I was able to continue that work through my role as VP of Philanthropy for my school\'s chapter of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. During my time in the position, we raised over for Prevent Child Abuse America and other organizations, as well as participating in over 400 hours of community service.I am currently seeking a position where I can further explore my passions. I am open to writing and reporting work, paralegal work and work within the nonprofit sector.
