ABOUT MEGAN WAGNER

I have over seven years of tax compliance experience varying from multinational corporations to small pass-through clients. I have worked on returns for corporations, partnerships, s-corporations and individuals. Additionally, I have assisted in the preparation of tax provisions and tax consulting projects for clients in several industries. My Masters in Professional Accounting degree was earned at the University of Texas in Austin.My professional strengths include critical analysis, writing and research. I developed these skills as an undergraduate student majoring in Political Science and History at Southwestern University, a small liberal arts university in Georgetown, Texas. Additionally, I gained strong leadership capabilities through many roles in on-campus organizations, such as business manager for the student-run newspaper and president of my sorority. Those leadership skills have been furthered by participating in work committees for my departments and firms as a whole.After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked for various political organizations including a PAC, federal campaign committee and state party. I have a passion for social causes and creating a wider connection with my community. In line with those interests, I actively participate as a member of Travis Audubon and the Hill Country Conservancy.
