About Megan Kauffman McCorkle
I\'m passionate about unlocking socioeconomic mobility through higher education and reducing barriers for students. There are two bottlenecks in higher education as I see it. The first is getting into college and the second is knowing how to translate a degree into a fulfilling career. My early career was spent on the first bottleneck where I gained hands on experience working in enrollment at universities. I leveraged that expertise across over 1,700 colleges and universities on an enrollment marketing solution at Scoir, an EdTech startup focused on helping students find their best-fit college the first time. I launched their initial college product offering and converted the first 200 paying customers. More recently I\'ve been focused on the second bottleneck. While I loved my liberal arts major at Penn, I struggled to translate my degree into a career and as the first person in my household to graduate college, I didn\'t have the guidance or resources to know how to navigate internships, career services, etc. Today I lead the marketing team at Rize Education where we\'re focused on helping students find pathways to fulfilling employment through career-focused degree programs in high demand fields that are financially viable for small colleges through program sharing. In the first two years, I\'ve helped grow ARR more than 4x. I\'m a full stack marketer who loves building out the function from 0 to 1, accelerating product market fit attainment and creating new market categories to drive revenue growth. My areas of speciality are product marketing, brand, content, ABM, and revops. I’ve driven at least 2x YoY revenue growth from every marketing function I’ve owned for the last 5 years across 3 companies. Data is the foundation for all great marketing, so I\'ve also owned the CRM and marketing automation platform implementation in all of my roles since 2013.
