ABOUT MEGAN HOLBROOK

I am studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marquette University, and I am involved in political fundraising and grassroots activism for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and individual candidates. PREVIOUSLY: I run a digital strategy consulting firm, Digitalese LLC. I help companies looking to update or redesign their websites define and accomplish their goals. This process involves some or all of the following: providing analysis of their current site and their competitors\' sites; developing a digital strategy; writing thorough RFPs; choosing appropriate designers and developers; and managing the project deliverables. For smaller projects, I implement websites using Squarespace and Wix. I have extensive experience overseeing website design and development projects for clients all over the country. I spent 14 years working as a partner in a Los Angeles-based boutique website design firm, kapow, inc. During that time, I was the project manager on multiple high-end website design projects for clients including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, PBS (21 website projects), Ken Burns (last 5 documentary websites), Stanford University, the Los Angeles Public Library, and many, many others. Projects we worked on won 2 Webbys. For 12 of my 14 years at kapow, I worked from my home base in Milwaukee, but was able to manage relationships all over the country.
