ABOUT MEGAN DRAKE-PEREYRA

Megan Drake-Pereyra is a seasoned leader with over 19 years of professional experience. She currently serves as Assistant Public Health Administrator (Deputy Director) for the City of Bloomington, Minnesota and the Bloomington, Edina, Richfield Public Health Collaboration. Previously, she was the Public Health Infrastructure Advisor at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), where she managed complex, cross-functional projects and provided expert guidance and capacity building on strategic planning, operational excellence, and foundational capabilities to ASTHO’s members, with a particular focus on its U.S. Territorial and Freely Associated States members.Prior to joining ASTHO, Megan dedicated 13 years to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). All of this she does with an eye towards building others’ knowledge, skill, ability, and confidence. Megan\'s diverse experience also spans work in rural and urban local health departments in Minnesota, and in international rural communities.
