Serve as the liaison to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students on career development needs within the College of Engineering and previously worked with Arts, Architecture and Physical Sciences majors during first 2 years in the role• Lead small group (6-20 students) meetups on various career related topics each semester and plan/execute an Engineering Career Community week each fall semester consisting of coach-led/industry-led meetups, industry panel, career trek (employer site visit), resume refresh event and more• Coordinate and execute the annual Etiquette Dinner growing the event from 150 attendees and 5 employer sponsors in 2017 to 300 attendees and 30 employer sponsors in 2019 & 2023 • Work extensively with international students, specifically from India and the Middle East, hosting international student specific programs and events each semester including Career Fair Prep for International Students, International Student Alumni Panel, and International Student Career Readiness Boot-Camp• Assist students in major/career exploration, resume/CV and cover letter writing, finding internships, co-ops, full/part-time jobs, apply to graduate school, conduct mock interviews, and interpret self-assessments• Collaborate and communicate regularly with faculty and staff in the College of Engineering• Conduct up to 25 career related presentations per semester and workshops to courses and student organizations such as resume/cover letter writing, networking strategies, effective use of LinkedIn, job search strategies, etc. • Communicate regularly with employers on recruiting strategies and building relationships with UNC Charlotte• Interpret Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, PathwayU (formerly Strong Interest Inventory), and CliftonStrengths in one-on-one and group settings • Coordinate industry specific panels by inviting alumni and employers to sit on panels to help educate students • Planned and implemented the annual Mock Interview Day in 2014 and 2015
