ABOUT MEGAN CAREY
I help organizations improve how people access, understand, and engage with critical services and information. For over a decade, I’ve worked across healthcare, government, and enterprise environments, partnering with organizations to solve a common challenge: even the best products or services fail when the experience is too complex, inaccessible, or disconnected from real user needs. My work sits at the intersection of accessibility, digital experience, and user engagement. I’ve led strategic initiatives that improve how information is delivered, how systems are adopted, and how people interact with products and services at scale. This includes advising cross-functional teams across product, compliance, operations, and executive leadership to align business goals with real-world outcomes. I’ve built and managed multimillion-dollar pipelines while serving as a trusted advisor to organizations navigating digital transformation, accessibility, and experience challenges in highly regulated and complex environments. I am currently appointed to the Equity Advisory Committee on Aging and Disability (EACAD) under California’s Master Plan for Aging, where I collaborate with state leaders and stakeholders to advance equitable access, improve outcomes for older adults and individuals with disabilities, and help shape more inclusive systems across California. My experience also includes direct work supporting individuals and families navigating care systems, giving me a firsthand perspective on the gaps between services, systems, and the people they are meant to serve. I’m particularly focused on: • Improving user engagement and adoption • Expanding access for underserved populations • Advancing accessibility and inclusive design • Building scalable solutions that align policy, technology, and human experience I’m always interested in connecting with organizations and leaders working to improve access, experience, and outcomes across complex systems.
