ABOUT MEGAN WRIGHT
I am a qualified primary school teacher and safeguarding professional with over 5 years experience in the field. I am particularly interested in the global safeguarding space and I am currently investigating global safeguarding and child protection models to understand how they are constructed and applied across different jurisdictions for my PhD. I have a broad range of experience working with children and safeguarding, including implementing policies and procedures, designing and delivering training, and investigating and managing safeguarfiny concerns. In my spare time, I have been committed to empowering and helping those who have suffered abuse. I have volunteered at two different charities; the first provided long-term support to female survivors of human trafficking and the second delivered services to tackle local inequalities in the community which included afterschool clubs where I taught early reading skills to refugee children.
