About Megan Vallejo
My name is Megan Vallejo, I am a Junior at The George Washington University School of Business pursuing a BS in Business and Information Systems & Technology Management. Currently, I am serving as a Bahay leader for the Philippine Cultural Society\'s leadership team. Additionally, I am an active member of GW\'s Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPSI) serving as a pledge mentor. Growing up in an Asian household, culture has been a constant source of joy for me. As a result of learning how to cook from my grandpa and dad at a young age, I have developed a passion for exotic fruits and Asian cuisine. The cooking technique of generations past, merely using taste and feel to cook the same dish without a recipe, taught me to be flexible and open-minded. Since obtaining recipes from my grandpa and dad has proven challenging, I have learned to adapt my methods to achieve success. I look forward to bringing these skills, as well as my passion for culture, organization, and discipline, to future opportunities.
