ABOUT MEGAN TOMCZAK-MONGELL

With a robust background managing oncology and multi-therapeutic teams and clinical trials, my leadership has been pivotal in exceeding timeline expectations, including when I surpassed clinical trial timeline expectations amid the COVID-19 pandemic, achieving faster results than pre-pandemic benchmarks. My leadership has also been pivotal in achieving remarkable growth in site development. I increased territory development of clinical sites on West Coast by 206% in less than one year. I am extremely passionate about leveraging technology advancements to streamline our work and to make significant progress in the field of research. I was a leader in the development, execution, and success of an organizational data dashboard. I led the Dashboard Change Management and Communications initiative. I increased dashboard usage to double the usage across organization within 3 months after implementation of a ‘Get Fit with Vision” program. This initiative included 75 customized training sessions, multiple interactive learning activities and newsletters. Study timelines also improved by 35% due to usage of the dashboard to proactively mitigate risks. Overall, I am excited to bring my enthusiastic, innovative, and positive approach to this Associate Director position to improve patient outcomes in the challenging and rewarding field of clinical research.On a personal note, I am deeply committed to philanthropy and volunteering. I believe in the importance of giving back and find immense joy in hosting fundraisers for various organizations, with a strong focus on veteran support, such as the Gary Sinise Foundation. As a volunteer for Hire Heroes USA, I provide career counseling, interview preparation, LinkedIn profile building, and more to veterans and their spouses. Additionally, I am passionate about animal rescue and support several animal rescue organizations, including Joey’s Friends.
