As a Senior Evidence Analysis Specialist at Smith & Nephew, I lead the scoping and execution of evidence synthesis activities including systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses, to support the commercial success of the Orthopaedic franchise. I work with large cross-functional project teams to provide unbiased evidence-based recommendations that inform strategic decision making and maximise commercial value. Additionally I review promotional assets for clinical and scientific accuracy, and work with Marketing to support product claims generation and management.With a Master\'s degree in Infection, Immunity and Human Disease from the University of Leeds, I have a strong background in biomedical sciences and clinical research. I have experience in Orthopaedics, Wound Management, and Sports Medicine, and I have authored and presented multiple papers and posters at international conferences. I am passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems, innovating ways of working, and improving efficiency. I also enjoy training and guiding other members of the team, and bringing out the best in people through mentoring which I also pursue in my spare time as a STEM Ambassador.
