About Megan Powers

My father always taught me,\"the only stupid question is the question not asked.\" This statement taught me to not be afraid, but to be curious which has allowed me to fearlessly try different adventures in the business world. However, after completing my Bachelor\'s in Applied Management I knew Human Resources was where I was meant to be. That was where my passion was. Now I am working on my MBA with an emphasis in Strategic Human Resources Management. I love that I get to learn something new everyday and that no two days are the same as well as having the flexibility to be innovative with tasks within my position. One day I might doing group interviews or individual interviews or teaching New Hire Orientation. Interacting with people is one of my favorite tasks; getting to know them and their view point brings diversity and innovation to any team. At this point in my career, I am searching for a position that would be a perfect fit- a position within a company that I can call home for years to come, so I am open to relocating for the right opportunity. When I am not in the office, you can find me on a disc golf course sharpening my skills or baking in the kitchen. Thanks to Pinterest and Tasty, the amount of recipes to try is endless. I recently made churros! It was a little something different from the tiered cakes I have made in the past, but I absolutely love trying new things.
