About Megan Mohr

I am a current sophomore at the University of South Carolina in the Darla School of Business, majoring in finance with a minor in mass communications. On campus I am an active member in Chi Omega as well as the Give a Dog a Bone Club which have allowed me to grow strong connections with others and involve myself in various areas within the campus. I am hoping to run for a leadership position within my sorority next semester, as I have always had a passion for helping to unify a group of people and to create a shared sense of purpose. Last summer I worked as an Intern at Aerotek, a recruiting and staffing company, which taught me how to navigate a financial position in the business world. This internship allowed me to become increasingly confident in my ability to format and analyze large data sets. By being tasked with financial analysis reports, I was able to assign value to numbers clients were asking to see and ask questions to my coworkers to further develop my understanding of the business. I also had the chance to meet with other departments within Aerotek and learn how the various pieces of marketing and communications go into the overall puzzle of finance. My affinity for numbers, strong communication skills, and work ethic would allow me to excel in the business world, and I am excited to see where it may bring me. I am currently searching for an internship for the summer of 2023.
