About Megan Miller
Megan Miller is associate general counsel for Electrolux. She oversees and manages all legal matters related to labor, employment, HR and compliance for the Swedish multinational appliance manufacturer’s North American operations. Megan, a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), is also in charge of compliance at Electrolux. That part of her role includes managing helpline investigations, maintaining compliance policies, and delivering online and in-person compliance trainings.As a corporate lawyer, Megan has handled and litigated the full range of corporate legal matters, including contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, and more. She has interacted with the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Product Safety Committee and other government organizations. But it’s the labor law and compliance training that she oversees that she is most passionate about. It’s where she feels she is doing the most good by making her company stronger from within. Prior to Electrolux, Megan was an associate with the Charlotte law firm Hunton & Williams LLP. She represented financial companies in a variety of mortgage-related claims.And prior to her law career, Megan worked for several years in the textile industry as a production manager. She decided to go to law school, because even as a kid growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, she always had a feeling that that’s what she was meant to do.Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in textile and apparel management from North Carolina State University. She earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and two children.
