In my role as a Content Lead at DCG Communications, I wrote articles for a bi-weekly newsletter with over 1.36 million subscribers, translating complex healthcare information into accessible content with the goal of empowering Veteran involvement in their healthcare decisions. My tenure as a Social Media consultant for Des Moines Water Works saw me launching and growing social media platforms, while my time as a Communications Coordinator with the Iowa Environmental Council involved driving clean energy and water policy advocacy through strategic communication, fundraising, and event planning. Beyond my professional roles, I am passionate about community building and volunteerism. I have coordinated events for local nonprofits, led fundraising campaigns, and contributed to social media efforts for various community organizations.
