ABOUT MEGAN MCDONALD

I am a Manager within EY’s People Advisory Services team based in the firms Aberdeen office. In this role, I provide key technical advisory support to a wide range of clients. Since starting my tax career in 2014, I have gained vast experience across both UK and Global Employment Tax matters, dealing with clients located across the globe on a daily basis. With no two days being the same, I have had heavy involvement in providing advice to clients in the following key areas to name a few; IR35 Off-Payroll Working, standard monthly / annual compliance (i.e. P11Ds, PSA, STBV, ERS Reporting, Diver Returns, UK Tax Returns), Termination Payments (including calculations and payroll processing), HMRC Employer Compliance Reviews, HMRC Disclosures / Reclaims, International Assignments and payroll processing. Aside from my career experience, I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation having completed my final exams in January 2021. As part of my exam passes I secured Distinction in the Human Capital Application & Interaction paper.
