About Megan Lloren

Hello everyone! My name is Megan Lloren, and I\'m a pre-medical student at Seton Hall University\'s Joint BS/MD Program. I major in Biology and Diplomacy/International Relations, with a minor in Spanish. I\'m currently seeking opportunities in global health or international relations. 🩺 I aspire to create a healthcare system that teaches communities how culture impacts perspective. By increasing my knowledge of global affairs and STEM, I hope to serve communities internationally through public health advocacy and medical understanding. In my efforts towards equitable healthcare, I have gained invaluable leadership skills—in both planning and executing service initiatives (like the Guatemala Service Project with California HOSA and the Tanzania Msamaria Service Project with Go36 and NJ HOSA) and building an organization from the ground up (like Philippines HOSA). 🧪 Other than healthcare, I have a passion for biomedical research. My biomedical research journey began with radiation oncology through Dr. Steven Shiao at Cedars-Sinai, consequently followed by Dr. Zakrzeweski\'s immunotherapy and xenograph work with leukemia and lymphoma. Please reach out if you have any questions about my experience, aspirations, goals, or ideas or want to connect! My email is l•••••••@shu.edu. I would happily set up a meeting or send a rèsume if requested!
