ABOUT MEGAN HASTING

As a Program Consultant at the Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, I carry on the mission of John Glenn and the Glenn College to inspire citizenship and support a lifetime of leadership for public service professionals. Our team supports a lifetime of leadership and service in the public sector, impacting over professionals throughout Ohio every year.With over a decade of public service experience, I leverage my skills in external relations, attention to detail, and analytical skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including elected officials, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and local leaders. I also design and deliver training programs that address the needs and challenges of our customers, and demonstrate the value and impact of our programs. I enjoy expanding my sphere of knowledge better understand organizational process make well-informed decisions. I am introspective and inquisitive, and enjoy exchanging ideas, concepts, and theories to drive strategic thinking and programming.I manage the Ohio Registered Elections Officials certification program (OREO), where I work with the Ohio Association of Elections Officials to design curriculum that meets the ever-changing workforce needs of elections officials. I also serve as the Secretariat for the Ohio City/County Management Association, working alongside local government professionals to enhance member experience, networking, and support of the profession across the State of Ohio.
