ABOUT MEGAN EDWARDS

As a Principal Insight Consultant at UCAS, I specialise in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the Higher Education landscape. I work closely with institutions to help them optimise internal strategies, operational planning, and marketing efforts—empowering them to make informed, data-driven choices. I design and deliver impactful reports including data visualisations that integrate institutional and public datasets, enabling clients to uncover opportunities, track performance, and gain a competitive edge. My work supports a wide range of objectives, from meeting recruitment targets to enhancing operational efficiency. Internally, I advocate for the needs of our customers in the development of new products, ensuring that our solutions are grounded in real-world challenges and expectations. I also lead consultancy projects, managing diverse data sources and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders. A key part of my role involves upskilling others—both within UCAS and across the sector—through training, presentations, and documentation that build confidence in interpreting and applying data insights effectively.
