ABOUT MEGAN DOWNING
I am a bilingual third-year Psychology student at UCLA with an interest in autism intervention styles. l am currently serving as a research leader at UCLA under the Psi Chi Honor Society. Seasonally, I work with adolescents in San Diego, California as a recreational leader. This involves understanding children\'s decisions from a social-cognitive perspective, understanding and applying psychological principles to foster a positive environment, and prioritizing safety. I plan on getting my PhD in Clinical Psychology. I am interested in a lab coordinator position after I finish my bachelor\'s degree in 2027. I have a passion for helping those with mental and behavioral health concerns and instill acceptance and advocacy through my work.
