ABOUT MEGAN DICKS
At RWDI, we help design teams and building owners make structures that are resilient to climate change and equipped to withstand real-world conditions. Codes and standards are often based on generic building forms, and can be difficult to apply appropriately to complex structures, let alone predict for more extreme weather events with accuracy. As a microclimate engineer, I specialize in structural snow loading assessments, shedding ice and snow performance, rainwater management, and drifting snow assessments. My interest is in outside-the-box design solutions that are practical and have longevity in mind.
