   As a fundraising manager I cover a large range of important responsibilities such as weekly Rota planning; staff training and development; and administrative tasks. Maintaining excellent inter-staff relations is vital to an efficient and successful section. Having been given the opportunity to work in so many different regions and being immersed in different section cultures and personalities- I have not only developed struggling regions to hugely successful ones I have also learned the importance of adaptability and maintaining a positive pre-emptive attitude in the face of adversity. This work has provided many challenges throughout. Being at the forefront of recruiting, training and developing sections all over the UK, from a handful to around twenty staff has given me an expansive experience of people management and a solid tool set to take into any managerial position. I have learnt how to approach and communicate efficiently with the public and my team- including those below and above. The success of my staff and my section as a whole is what drives my motivation each day. Results don’t lie- The Scottish section despite in the past being a long-standing struggling is now one if not the most successful region within One Sixty Fundraising this year under my management.
