I help multinationals and associations with cybersecurity, risk management, the Internet of Things, and consumer issues. I work on data security, corporate governance, privacy, vulnerability management, Board engagement, and national security. With my amazing team, I handle litigation and Congressional and agency inquiries. I represent clients on numerous issues before Congress, the FCC, FTC, DOJ, DHS, NTIA, DoD, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, among others. I advise on state and non-U.S. issues, including state privacy laws, GDPR, and more. In all of this I draw on senior DOJ service and deep connections to government and industry leadership. I regularly speak on cyber, IoT and privacy. I serve on the US Chamber’s Cybersecurity Leadership Council and the Board of the Women’s High Tech Coalition. I tweet at @megbrownlawyer and blog with my team at Wileyconnect.com. I am a Senior Fellow with the National Security Institute at George Mason\'s Scalia Law School @MasonNatSec. I guest lecture at American University, William & Mary, and serve as the Co-Chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association Foundation, which provides scholarships for needy college and law school students.
