About Megan Bell

Meliora,\"ever better.\" I know. A little bit cliche, but to me, Meliora is more than just my university\'s motto, it truly is one of the guiding principles of my life. When I was little, my Mimi would always read a book called Miss Rumphius to me. Miss Rumphius is tasked by her grandfather with making the world a \"more beautiful place\" and she does so by planting beautiful lupines all over. I loved this book and I loved reading it with my Mimi, and to this day, the message of making the world a more beautiful place, phrased a little differently as \"ever better,\" is at the core of everything I do. When choosing a major, I wanted to do something that would allow me to make a real difference in people\'s lives, and with my love of physics, biology, and math, I landed on Biomedical Engineering. During my time at the U of R I have discovered a new interest in Neuroengineering, I hope to use my understanding of signals and systems to treat those affected by nervous system disorders I am looking to continue gaining experience in areas related to neuroengineering and biomedical devices. If you have similar interests or are also devoted to making the world ever better, please connect!
