ABOUT MEGAN ASCROFT

This is my first time working in HR, but it is fitting much better into my work / life balance now that I\'m a mum and my little boy is at nursery. Being at risk of redundancy whilst pregnant was scary but Timeline offered this role and it has worked out really well! I\'m learning new skills and gaining experience all the time. Currently working part time.I was previously a Post Producer and have previously worked in Live Events, Daytime, Childrens\' Productions and Children\'s Audience Research, all of which have given me a strong ability to understand what goes into making a successful production. I love meeting new people and getting the best out of a team. I love working with new clients and making the most of their budget, time and getting the best people into get the best results.Building long lasting genuine relationships has always been a skill of mine and I’m enjoying working with many past and present clients / colleagues at Timeline. I can adapt my communication style to reflect my audience and have excellent skills of persuasion and getting the right people on my side. I’m confident at building business relationships and have the ability to juggle several tasks at once. I’m efficient and focused around meeting deadlines.I truly believe that enjoying my work makes me better at it, and I seek opportunities to create an open, happy work environment for myself and the team.
