About Meg Kalinowski
Licensed Architect in the state of New York and AIA member.Spatial Strategist, Researcher, Educator + Registered Architect with over 15 years of experience in the Architecture, Development and Construction industries. Skilled in Design, Strategy & Project Management, Planning, Documentation, and Construction Administration as well as Client and Consultant relationships. With an aim to forge lasting professional relationships and create impactful projects, I have worked with teams to develop collaborative strategies and generate innovative multi-sector solutions that focus on best practices in global sustainability, spatial justice and socio-economic equity for all. With nearly a decade of design leadership, I have collaborated with teams and lead strategic visioning for a number of completed projects ranging from commercial/cultural development and planning, architecture, workplace, branding and retail experience design. I have a Masters degree from CUNY, Spitzer School of Architecture at CCNY in Urban Planning and Design, with a focus on sustainable, ecological and multi-species development strategies.I have served as a professor and guest critic at esteemed institutions including Columbia University GSAPP, CCNY Spitzer School of Architecture, NYIT School of Architecture, Rutgers University\'s Bloustein School of Policy and Planning, Parsons School of Design, and Pratt Institute School of Architecture. In addition to my current teaching role at Pratt, I am a member of the Dean’s Office NAAB taskforce, where I contribute to strategic planning, program value articulation, data gathering + analysis, and crafting of the upcoming 2025 NAAB Architecture Program Report (APR).
