As a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced orthopedic surgery practice, I provide hands-on clinical support to ensure high quality patient care and efficiency within the clinic. My key responsibilities include gathering and documenting medical chart information, including patient histories and vital signs. I perform in-office procedures such as removing sutures and staples. Minor treatments, such as injections, are performed in office where I provide assistance to orthopedic surgeons and physician’s assistants. Additionally, I manage appointment scheduling, coordinate follow-ups and imaging referrals, and work closely with medical staff to maintain efficiency and continuity of care throughout the office.
