I grew up in Vancouver British Columbia, and I started riding before I could walk, when I was two years old and was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said a farmer who saves animals and a horse trainer. Chasing a dream involves dedication, determination and sacrifice, I have realized my dream and continue to grow. Since the age of 14 when I was placed on the Canadian Young Riders Equestrian Team, I had to spend endless hours in the saddle, in the barn, traveling to competitions\' perfecting my skills to make it to the top. I\'ve been an Equine Canada Certified riding coach and horse trainer since I was 17 years old. I am a gifted animal communicator and I especially love working with children, teaching them the joy of communicating with and giving back to all of the amazing horses and ponies and farm animals at my ranch, many of which I have rescued, and rehabilitated who were starved, abused and neglected, and who now have a purpose and are equine school masters in my riding program. I have an amazing lesson, U.S.D.F and U.S.E.F competition and rated shows training program, taylored to young riders wishing to reach their dreams of international competition. I teach all levels of riding, from total beginner to Grand Prix, and start children as young as two, on my personally trained Natural Horsemanship ponies and school horses,and offer teen and adult lessons, as well as group nature guided trail rides in the beautiful Elfin Forest Nature Preserve, starting right outside the gates of my ranch~

   Apr 1997 — Present

   I own and operate Mega Arte Riding Academy, a five acre farm in Elfin Forest, North County San Diego. I\'m the breeder and trainer of an Olympic line of Swedish Warmbloods, and I own the stallion Valance, out of Vermouth 858, and Ceylon 454, both internationally aclaimed FEI level horses. Valance will be standing at stud, and offered to select outside mares in 2015. I also own and personally continue to train my Swedish Olympic prospect mare Ceylonna, a class 1 Swedish Filly, and full sister to Valance, who will be starting her show jumping/ Dressage career very soon, with a select young rider that I will be chosing. My Swedish horses will take dedicated students to their dreams of international competition. I also run, and dedicate myself to my non profit Rescue Farm, and continue to rehabilitate horses, ponies, and farm animals, that have been abandoned or abused. I am an Equine Canada Certified instructor/coach/ horse trainer, encompassing Dressage, Hunter-Jumper, and Cross Country. I teach and start training children as young as two on our miniature horses and ponies, all the way up to teens and adults, teaching the Art of Natural Horsemanship, on my 14 well trained school horses and ponies, many of which I rescued and trained so that they have a purpose and are proof of what can be done through rehabilitation, love and compassion.
