About Latanya White
Even before beginning my academic career, I realized the importance of having real-world business experience to effectively translate theory into practical strategies. I didn\'t know what a scholar-practitioner was back then, but now I recognize that as core to my identity. That is why I founded a professional development firm in 2012, Concept Creative Group, and began using my award-winning evidence-based framework to create business development programs. Since then, my team and I have helped over business leaders develop entrepreneurial persistence, build scalable business systems, and transform their businesses into vehicles for transferable wealth. My work has been featured in ESSENCE magazine, recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State. I’ve also used my research and business case studies to influence policy. From serving as a Congressional Witness for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, to working directly with policymakers to create systemic solutions and advance wealth equity, I’m on a mission to change the trajectories of Black and brown families. I’m looking forward to partnering with government agencies, ESOs, training and development organizations, ecosystem builders, and policymakers who want to build sustainable pathways for wealth equity and economic mobility.
