ABOUT MEET SHAH

I currently work as a Junior Consultant at Capacitas.I previously worked as a Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Consultant at Tunneys CFO Advisory where I helped build robust financial models and data visualisation dashboards using Excel and Power BI.Prior to that, I worked as a Corporate Finance Intern at DNS Corporate Advisory, where I supported investment decisions through financial modelling, market research, and due diligence. My work involved preparing stakeholder presentations, analysing market trends, and contributing to financial reports for SME clients, providing me with valuable exposure to the sector.I hold an MSc in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College London, where I developed specialised skills in risk management, valuation, and asset allocation. My studies focused on technical and quantitative aspects of finance, including hands-on projects and rigorous training in financial modelling and risk analysis.Previously, I graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Systems Engineering from Queen Mary University of London. My engineering background, especially in advanced control systems and software engineering, has given me a solid foundation for quantitative analysis in finance. My final-year research project applied machine learning to chess, achieving high marks and further building my analytical and problem-solving skills.In addition to my finance and technical background, I am deeply involved in competitive chess and was the captain of the Battersea Chess Team, where I led our team in the London Chess League. This role has sharpened my strategic thinking and leadership abilities, as I am responsible for team organisation, preparation, and fostering a collaborative spirit among team members.
