ABOUT MEERA SENTHILINGAM

Emmy award-winning global health journalist, author and editor with experience in digital, radio, TV and print journalism. I am currently the Deputy Editor for CNN’s gender inequality series As Equals. I’m also a mentor for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, I provide media and journalism training, and recently authored a book. My book \'Outbreaks and Epidemics: Battling infection from measles to coronavirus\' is out now and available worldwide in five languages and as an audiobook and illustrated edition, published by Icon books and Unipress. The Guardian named it one of the best five science books of 2020 and it has been long listed for the BSHS Hughes Prize.
