About Meera S. Patel
Before pursuing law school, I gained invaluable experience in the nonprofit sector, focusing on women\'s rights and education. Throughout my legal education, I have further developed my practical skills in various areas, including international human rights, peace negotiations, immigration law, civil rights, education law, government investigations, criminal law, and trial advocacy. I graduated with a JD in May 2023, a MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution in August 2023, and am admitted to the New York State Bar. In addition to my academic pursuits, I find fulfillment in diverse activities. I enjoy reading (currently reading Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson), playing competitive football/soccer, and finding new ways to connect to our community.
