ABOUT MEERA SRINIVASAN

I am a driven and motivated Consulting Analyst at Deloitte, working primarily in energy and resources, and operational risk for energy/industrials and financial services industry clients (banking/capital markets). I also specialize in sustainability reporting and analytics. Skill areas include financial analytics, heavy industry decarbonization, ESG frameworks, power utilities and renewables, private investments (Private Equity and Hedge Fund investing), and project management. Holder of the certification for FINRA\'s Securities Industry Essentials, and MIT Sloan\'s Artificial Intelligence for Business Strategy.I graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini!), with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Economics. My specializations were in dynamics of mechanical systems, fluid mechanics, engineering design, and macro/development economics. I am proud to be a Board Member of The Street Smarts, a nonprofit aimed at bringing opportunities in finance to students from historically underrepresented communities, and dedicated to helping companies increase diversity in their workforce. I also currently sit on the 100 Women in Finance Northern California Education Committee, where I help spearhead the organization of networking and social events for members in the region. I want to use my skills to help others, and want to make sure whatever I do both in my education and career has a positive impact on society. Other passions include: public and energy policy, sports analytics, football, and all other college/professional sports.
