About Meera Kuthiala

I am currently a Junior at Indiana University\'s Kelley School of Business, dual majoring in Finance and International Business. My passion for International Business is driven by my love for travel and experiencing new cultures. I studied Spanish throughout high school, and participated in an exchange program where I resided with a host family for two weeks. Business has always interested me and I am eager to continue growing and learning. During my high school career I was a member, and captain of the swim team. From this position I learned what it means to be a leader, and went on to receive the Greatest Contribution to the Bolles School at graduation. I am passionate about helping those around me, and was heavily involved in volunteer work. I hosted a food drive for a local Title 1 school, where we provided each student with a holiday meal to bring home to their families. I served as President of Bolles Buddies, where we worked with a local school for special education and hosted monthly activities with the children, and helped volunteer at their end of the year prom. Finally I participated in a service trip, where I travelled through Vietnam for a month staying with local families and building playgrounds for local schools. My volunteer experience has played a large role in my life and I hope to continue using my resources to help those around me. At Indiana I am currently looking to join clubs and seek new opportunities. I plan to enroll in courses that will help me in my future and in achieving my goals.
