ABOUT MEERA GANDHI

Clinician leader, health equity advocate, and healthcare innovator with over a decade of experience across urgent care, emergency medicine, and inclusive, person-centered care. Passionate about transforming systems for underserved and neurodiverse populations through cross-disciplinary collaboration, operational insight, and holistic care models. Currently serves as Clinic Director at Kramer Davis, an interdisciplinary clinic reimagining healthcare delivery for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Leads initiatives that promote coordinated, compassionate care across specialties—championing whole-person health that includes emotional wellbeing, communication, and dignity. Previously spent 10 years as a Physician Assistant at Duke Health, delivering front-line care in urgent care and emergency settings—including during the COVID-19 pandemic—where she witnessed firsthand the systemic gaps and opportunities in care delivery. Her work has also spanned global medical relief missions and service with Special Olympics International. Additionally, has contributed to nonprofit work advancing early detection of neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, while helping build community support systems that prioritize emotional health as a fundamental part of clinical care. As a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor, Meera has deepened her commitment to integrative approaches that honor the mind-body connection, cultural traditions, and preventive care. This lens informs her clinical philosophy and fuels her dedication to truly whole-person health. Known for blending medical expertise with operational thinking and authentic leadership.
