My expertise spans Mainframe modernization, migration, FinOps, and cloud cost management, alongside solution development and product enhancements.I began my career as a Mainframe application developer, contributing to critical systems in the Banking and Financial Services sectors. Over the years, I have advanced to solution architecting and designing pivotal business applications.    I am part of Cloud Engineering team in EY GDS specialized in Product development, Legacy modernization & migration solutions and Cloud Cost Analysis & Optimization (FinOps).Important projects and work experience:Application modernization and Cloud migration for US FS companyCurrently working as an Architect supporting the application modernization and cloud adoption strategy of a major US client. Involved in technical solution design and development which includes redesigning the existing legacy solution to work with newly acquired COTS solution and integrating the features with peripheral solutions migrating to Cloud. Skills - Java Springboot, Event Driven DesignFinOps dashboard solution development By taking in requirements from multiple customers and standardizing them, we developed a comprehensive FinOps dashboard with 20 views and infused with GenAI for smarter data processing & optimization recommendations. The FinOps dashboard is deployed at multiple clients’ cloud environments tailored according to their specific requirements. I led the effort by taking up the role of product owner, kept agile cross-functional team efficient and focused on solution development.Cloud cost analysis and optimization for US Pharmaceutical companyThe client was facing high cloud cost with their applications newly migrated to Azure. I followed a data driven approach for Cloud Cost analysis, identified major cost drivers and optimization opportunities such as autoscaling, right sizing, commitment-based savings etc. Legacy modernization strategy and application disposition assessment for Asian BankTo support the client\'s multi-year modernization journey, I performed a comprehensive current state assessment of their legacy landscape, identified potential options for modernization considering their specific requirements and constraints, and prepared modernization strategy with timeline, estimated cost and finalized application disposition.
