o Designed an NLP model in Python to create a multiclassification tool by leveraging Marsh’s property database which classifies the structure of the building based on certain description text. Improved F1 measure of algorithm 81.2% compared to the baseline algorithm. o Created an automated weather alert system using Python, R and SQL for Marsh’s Global Analytics Catastrophe Modeling team, which combines information from GDACS and NHC (NOAA) websites, specifically XML feeds, with Marsh’s property database to alert our clients of potential storm and hurricane threats. o Developed Python Script using Hive to interact with data from AWS S3 to conduct data analysis to see if there is a significant acceleration in closure rates in claims which helps with reducing workers compensation claims and liability costs, ultimately displaying the results using Tableau.
